Basildon Council
The council is now working with Cushman and Wakefield and urban designers, We Made That, to progress the Basildon Town Centre Masterplan to the next stage toward adoption as either a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) or a Development Plan Document (DPD). See the about page for more details on this. This will guide the centre through the coming years and provide a framework for constructive relationships with developers. The Council and its partners will use and analyse data from this Commonplace to support their work on the Town Centre masterplan.
We Made That
We Made That is an energetic architecture and urbanism practice with a strong public conscience.
Established in 2006, we work with our public sector clients to prepare incisive urban research, to develop responsive area strategies and masterplans and to deliver distinctive architecture and public realm projects.
We Made That will be overseeing the spatial aspects of the Masterplan including a vision for the public realm and built form
